Counselling 4 Youth is a Northern Ireland based counselling service. Young people are at the heart of what we do, and we are passionate about providing a safe, quality and confidential counselling service for them.
Counselling for Youth was established in 2002 by our Directors Edna Rice and Dr Alison Hill. Both Edna and Alison have extensive clinical experience in schools and a range of other settings. Edna and Alison have worked as school counsellors for a considerable number of years, acquiring experience in primary, post primary and special school settings. Alongside this, they both have extensive management experience in a variety of sectors.
As an organisation we are committed to the wellbeing of young people. Our qualified counsellors are well equipped to meet the needs of the young people that they work with. Counselling is an effective form of talking therapy that is used to support children and young people who are dealing with a range of issues and significant life events.
Counselling 4 Youth are an organisational member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
